Thanks Robin, I'm glad you like it. I agree with you that these sort of positive messages about fatherhood should be circulated widely.

Sometime in the next few weeks we're going to be launching a social media campaign to promote this film - our priority is to target Children's Centres. Our partner 'Break the Cycle' (a Family Action funded project) has found that the deficit perspective on fatherhood is really common in staff at family interventions such as Children's Centre's. We hope that as people watch this film they will be reminded of the importance of dads.

Hi, just like to say that I really liked this short documentary. Being an active father like the subjects in the film, I empathise, (even brought a few tears). The messages portrayed need to be broadcast on a wide scale, as I feel, as I'm sure other fathers feel, that our role is undermined and damaged by old fashioned bias.

Keep up the good work :-)

I remember being out on the lash in Leicester and running across the market stall table tops, jumping from one pitch to the next, being careful not to bang my head on the wrought iron overhead. The most distinctive part of Leicester city centre, not least because all the cultures literally rub up against each other. Special place. Lovely camera work, love the hip height angles. I reckon some hand held shots once trading starts would suggest the change of pace when the punters arrive.

favourite shots at 0:06 and 0:26.

Absolutely brilliant. It captures the very essence of what street markets are all about. Ordinary people communicating, buying and selling, just passing the time of day. It's where civilization was born. Street markets. Long may they continue.
